Excel PivotTable version compatibility user messaging: Excel now gives alerts about PivotTable compatibility issues and provides informative documentation and workarounds. When your version of Excel is unable to read data in a workbook, we present users with documentation that provides options to proactively troubleshoot and resolve the issue. In addition, we also allow users to upload their Excel document to OneDrive so they can seamlessly open the file in Excel for the web.

We fixed an issue where an Excel file could become corrupt after setting formatting (such as fill color) on some cells in a PivotTable on the row or column axis and then moving those fields to the Filter area of the PivotTable.

We fixed an issue where the message, "This project contains links to one or more data sources that may be unsafe and have been disabled. Would you like to enable these data sources? Only do this if you trust the source of the file." may appear when opening a project. The message appears even when the project doesn't have any active paste-links. Additionally, no active embedded objects are found in Gantt type views.

This change limits automatic deletion of old recovery files to those stored in the default recovery file location; this prevents unintended deletion of non-recovery files in user-configured recovery file paths.

Office apps now support OpenDocument Format (ODF) 1.3: ODF 1.3 brought many improvements to the OpenDocument format and these are now supported in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (file extensions .odt, .ods, and .odp).See details in blog post

We fixed an issue where the original icon of the app was not displaying correctly if the source file was from a OneDrive location and the file name contained HTML encoding characters when adding an Excel, Word, or PowerPoint embedded object into an Excel file.

We fixed an issue where an update would stop responding. The update would open Software Center as expected; it would start the "download and apply" phase, but then would stop responding and an error would appear: 0x87d00668 ("Software update still detected as actionable after apply").

New Search results page experience: A new search results page experience in Teams will make finding messages, people, answers, and files faster and more intuitive. The page will show top results from each domain, bookmark and acronym answers, decluttered search result snippets, preview message results for more context, more discoverable filters, and previews for files with better relevance based on the people and content you engage with most in Teams and other Microsoft 365 services.

This version fixes an issue when the app closes unexpected. This happens during Save for some documents in tenants which have opted into protected coauthoring if the local file cache has tenant Id datum formatted incorrectly.

We fixed an issue where a file added to a SharePoint document library would inherit the setting "ShowDocument Information Panel" immediately after opening, and it would remain if the file was removed from SharePoint.

We fixed an issue where sharing settings between OMEX and ExCatalog were no longer possible, such as for web add-in settings updates to the webextension.xml, since a new webextension file is created. The previous one was only accessed when the add-in was deployed in the original method, or the new solution reference comparison was turned off.

User preference setting to open files by default in Desktop (or) Browser (or) Teams: Users can set their default preference as Browser, Desktop or Teams whenopening Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point) files that are shared in Teams.Desktop setting can be selected if latest Office clients are installed and activated

We fixed an issue to support backward compatibility with older versions of Excel. The issue may cause a file that is saved in a more recent version of Excel failed to load properly in older versions of Excel due to functions such as IFERROR and XLOOKUP added to Excel since Office 2007.

Fixed an issue where task splits may be wrongly created when saving a project from Project web app to a local file. This would happen if a task calendar with non-standard working times was being used.

We fixed an issue where opening a file protected with a Microsoft Purview Information Protection label can hang indefinitely if the user is not signed in to an identity that has access to the MIP protected label. The user is forced to cancel the open to show the sign-in prompt, and the open only succeeds after that point. Fixing this issue by allowing the sign-in prompt to be shown during open/download.

Fixed an issue where Excel would incorrectly show a message bar that a new version of the file is available and force the user to save their changes in a copy of the workbook or discard their changes.

The issue occurred due to a recent regression. We have resolved the issue. "Save as Web Page" dialog will now have the fields correctly populated as per the user inputs and users can seamlessly save their files as web pages.

We added a regkey that allows customers to disable filetime inclusion for attachments in IDataObject operations (i.e. drag drop, clipboard).HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Attachments. REG_DWORD IncludeFileTimesInDataObject. 0 = filetimes are excluded. 1 = (default) filetimes are included

We fixed an issue where if you opened a file containing the LET function, it would display the alert: "We found a problem with content in "your file.xlsx". Do you want us to try to recover as much as we can? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes".

We fixed an issue where text inserted in a Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG) was illegible after inserting it in a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file, saving and closing the file, and then re-opening the file.

We fixed an issue that, when attempting to save a file containing a macro under a new name, would cause it to be saved with a .docx extension and the filename 'WRO0004.docx', regardless of what the user entered, rendering the document unusable.

Improved links in email: When you include a link to a file, the file name replaces the URL. You can change permissions so all recipients have access. Learn moreSee details in blog post

Addressed an issue that caused the "Last Modified" date on a file to be updated when adding an attachment to a mail or saving an attachment from a mail by dragging and dropping it (as opposed to via a menu).

Fixed an issue where After closing a file, PowerPoint does not immediately remove it from the Presentations collection if there are any event handlers running. Hence the number of open presentations reported by the object model is incorrect, and shutdown of PowerPoint is prevented.

In the replication cohort of MPE cases, HLA-A*24:02 showed an association, suggesting that it also has a role in milder cADRs induced by aromatic AEDs. This was supported by the findings of the meta-analysis of data from independent studies in other populations. An association was found between HLA-A*24:02 and MPE or unspecified cADRs in studies using tolerant controls, and the overall association between HLA-A*24:02 and cADRs in data from studies using population controls was statistically significant. Taken together, these data suggested that HLA-A*24:02 is an independent risk factor for severe SJS/TEN, as well as milder MPE. This broad phenotype profile is similar to HLA-A*31:01, which is associated with an increased risk of CBZ-induced SJS, hypersensitivity syndrome, and MPE in white29 and Japanese populations.28

I've updated my pteranodontid profiles to hopefully be easier to 'read' at small size, basically by making known parts predominantly black to contrast with gray unknowns. I also uploaded a full body in-flight restoration. What do you think? MMartyniuk (talk) 03:30, 2 January 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply] 041b061a72
